AI Photo Editing (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your information.

Information We Collect

Photos

  • Photos are only accessed when you explicitly select them
  • Photos are processed locally on your device
  • When you submit an edit, the selected photo is sent to DeepAI’s servers for AI processing
  • We do not store, access, or view your photos on our servers
  • Original photos remain on your device

Usage Data

  • Free edit count (stored locally on device via Keychain)
  • No analytics or tracking services
  • No personal information collected
  • No user accounts or registration required

API Keys

  • If you provide your own DeepAI API key, it’s stored securely in your device’s Keychain
  • We never transmit or store your API key on our servers
  • Your API key is only used to authenticate requests to DeepAI

Third-Party Services

DeepAI

  • Photos are sent to DeepAI’s API for AI processing when you submit an edit
  • Governed by DeepAI’s privacy policy: https://deepai.org/privacy-policy
  • Images are processed and results returned; DeepAI’s retention policy applies
  • We do not control or have access to DeepAI’s data handling

Data Storage

  • Edit history stored locally on your device in app-specific storage
  • Can be deleted by removing the app
  • No cloud backup or syncing
  • No data leaves your device except during API requests to DeepAI

Data Security

  • API keys stored in iOS Keychain with secure encryption
  • Photos only transmitted over HTTPS to DeepAI
  • No backend servers or databases maintained by us

Your Rights

  • Delete all data by uninstalling the app
  • Request information about data practices via email below
  • No data portability (all data is local to your device)

Children’s Privacy

This app does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app is rated 4+ and contains no objectionable content.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
